UKVI (UKBA) Contact Number: 0843 504 7198

Phone UKVI (formerly UKBA) on this phone number 0843 504 7198 or 0300 123 2241 to discuss an immigration or enforcement matter.

Thousands, if not millions of students, workers and potential migrants from different parts of the world have their eyes set on the United Kingdom. Like any other nation, the United Kingdom has borders and laws that all potential visitors and potential migrants need to respect and adhere to.

The UKBA, or the United Kingdom Border Agency, is the governmental branch that reviews applications from those seeking entry into the UK. They performed this function until 2013, when the UK Visas and Immigration was enacted thereby replacing the former UKBA. So, if you have any ongoing business with the UKBA, then you should now process it with the current UK Visas and Immigration, or the UKVI.

Instead of a UKBA contact number or information, what you need to get is the UKVI contact information. If you want to apply for a UK Visa for work, study or residency, then you should contact their office via telephone at 01243 218 104. This is their international number for enquiries.

You can also complete their contact form at ukvi-international.faq-help.com if you would prefer to get in touch with an advisor online.

If you’re a foreign citizen or European already in the UK and would like to contact UKVI (formerly UKBA) to enquire about British citizenship, then call them at 0300 123 2253. This helpline is open from 9am-5pm Mondays-Thursdays and from 9am-4:30pm on Fridays. Applications on citizenship and naturalization are typically processed within 6 months upon filing.

  • If you would like to contact the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI formerly UKBA) contact centre to enquire about your visa, immigration or residency in the UK, then contact them on 0300 123 2241 by telephone or 0800 389 8289 via textphone. These lines are open from 9am-5pm Mondays-Thursdays and from 9am-4:30pm on Fridays.
  • If you want to contact UKVI with regards to the Turkish European Community Association Agreement to enquire about applications, then contact them via fax at 0151 213 2909. Include your name, date of birth and visa reference number (in case you already have one).
